Audrey B. Wiley was born January 23, 1951 in Tylertown, MS to the late Jovan and Emma Lee Bridges, and currently resides in Jackson, MS.

She received a B.S. degree from Jackson State College in 1973, in Business Administration, and later received a Master’s degree in Vocational Administration from Jackson State University.

Audrey retired from the State Department of Education in 1999 as Director of Certification for Vocational Education.  She received numerous citations for the contributions she provided for the State of Mississippi.

When you look at Audrey’s life, you wonder how she does it all.  Audrey is Vice President of Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home, Inc.; a licensed funeral director, a licensed Real Estate Broker; owner of WAB Realty, LLC; and a licensed insurance salesperson for Catchings Insurance Agency.  Audrey is also the founder of Westhaven Funeral Home Choir, which consists of sixty-six (66) members.  The choir has traveled extensively throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, Illinois, Iowa, Georgia, Alabama and many other parts of the country.  She led this choir to receive the Outstanding Gospel Choir award from the Mississippi Music Awards Program, and to produce their first CD entitled “Bowed on My Knees”.

Audrey is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the NAACP, National Funeral Directors’ Association, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Jackson Life Underwriters, and others.

Audrey has received many awards, including the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Image Award, Transamerica Insurance Top Seller Award, The Business Woman of the Year Award from the National Council of Negro Women, and the 2007 Mississippi Majesty Award.

Audrey is a member of College Hill Baptist Church where she serves as a trustee, chairperson of the Hostess Ministry, and wherever else the church needs her.  She is known for her leadership in the church, the community, and for helping people, especially young adults and the elderly.
 
Audrey is the mother of one son, Gary Dewayne Wiley, a daughter-in-law (Alicia) whom she calls her daughter, and two grandchildren, Miles and Morgan.
