2003 Majesty Honoree

Mr. Frank Bluntson
Radio Personality & Humanitarian

Early in life, Bluntson recognized the importance of commitment and sacrifice on behalf of others. As a young man, he became the president of the youth branch of the NAACP in Clarksdale, Mississippi, working hand in hand with Aaron Henry to insure the entitlement of civil rights. He is well known for his radio show, "Straight Talk", which is dedicated to addressing the current issues of the community, and is shared with listeners all across the state. For more than 25 years, Bluntson has organized efforts to provide food to hundreds of senior citizens throughout the metro area.

In memory of the legacy of his son, this food drive is now known as the
Craig Bluntson/WKXI/WOAD Senior Citizens' Food Drive.
His heart knows no limit to giving.
