2003 Majesty Honoree  Mr. Henry Kirksey Political Pioneer |
| A pioneer in the world of legislative politics, Mr. Kirksey is responsible for initiatives to redraw political district lines to insure equal representation for African-Americans in the state of Mississippi. His efforts to render equal representation resulted in the formation of the Jackson City Council. Today, Kirksey is an outspoken advocate for education and social development in Mississippi. |
